With over twenty years of experience, Crystal's expertise as a Chartered Business Valuator spans a wide spectrum. Her specialties include valuations for corporate tax planning, business transactions, including shareholder buyouts, as well as preparing loss quantification reports for litigation support, with a particular focus on business losses arising from expropriation matters. Her experience encompasses private companies across various industries, extending beyond Alberta to British Columbia, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba. Before becoming an entrepreneur and starting her own firm, Crystal was a partner at an international accounting firm where she managed a large portion of the Western Canada valuations practice during her tenure.

Crystal's credibility extends to her role as a qualified financial expert witness, recognized by both the Alberta Land Compensation Board (now known as the Alberta Land and Property Rights Tribunal) and the Court of Queen's Bench of Alberta (currently known as the Court of King's Bench of Alberta).

Crystal is a strong proponent for higher education, obtaining a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Alberta, while also having the professional designations of CPA, CGA, CBV, CFE. In addition, with her Métis family background, Crystal has a strong interest in learning more about her heritage and being an ally for Indigenous people. She is a proud citizen of the Métis Nation of Alberta.

Beyond her professional pursuits, Crystal finds joy in spending quality time with her family, including her husband, daughter and two beloved Havanese dogs. She’s an enthusiastic Oilers fan, enjoys the camaraderie of curling during winter and loves to travel.
