Harlee Courtepatte
Harlee Courtepatte is a member of the Michel First Nation. He serves as Executive Director of the New Buffalo Education Circle, where he focuses on supporting Indigenous students in post-secondary education and strengthening connections between culture, academics, and industry.
Harlee is an advocate for education in Indigenous communities, with experience in leadership, consulting, and program development. His work emphasizes culturally grounded approaches and practical supports that help students succeed in their academic and career pathways.
He studied at MacEwan University and serves on the board of the Okimaw Awards, which recognize and celebrate the achievements of Indigenous men. His own leadership has been recognized with several honours, including the ASTech Award for Indigenous-Led Entrepreneurship and Contributions to Knowledge (2024) and the Okimaw Award for Business Leadership.
